Good evening rugby fans, where ever you are in the Nobs World. Tonight here at Nobs World Headquarters we are looking at temperatures in the high teens and then over this last weekend in August we are looking at temps in the high 20's. The CNE is going full tilt, and parents everywhere are smiling with the coming of school. So what's going on in this weekend you ask? Well, what do the Nobs do on the last Saturday in August? We make our annual trek to Ottawa. Our nations capital and another visit to Twin Elm. We'll give you the full update next week. Touch will be going on Sunday in Burlington. Please come out and not disappoint Jimmy. last night we used the small field to the west end of the rugby pitch. Some of you liked it, some didn't, and some had reservations about it. After taking a poll of those who played up in the club house after training, we are going to continue using the field until we no longer can. We would like to make a rugby presence there so that in the future it would be considered as a rugby field to the city. I spoke with the women's members who used the field all summer and they said that other than the field becoming hard with the warm summer weather they liked it. This field could serve us well over the winter. The feeling I got from those who used it was that once the cooler, moister days of fall set in it will be fine. Lets give it a chance. One last thing. After refereeing last evenings touch, I noticed that people where wearing jewelry and watch's. Please take them off like you would for a game. I would hate to see any of us cut, [or any of the shorter, young lads who come out from time to time] on account of this. We can't have them on in a game, so lets not have them for touch. That's it! Like my Emperor for Life would say; "start thinking about the game !!' So it's early to bed and early to rise for Ottawa. See ya at Twin Elm, Da Thug
