NOBS WORLD AUGUST 30TH

Good afternoon rugby fans through out the Nobs World.  Last Saturday we kicked off the second half of the season with our annual visit to Ottawa.  The weather was splendid, bright sun, warm with a pleasant cooling breeze.  The Nobs had a tremendous turn out with 19 players for the game!  The game started out in fine fashion with Eric Andrae picking off an errant Senators pass and dashing down the pitch for a score, with the game only minutes old.  Ottawa may not always have the strongest team on the road, but at home they are a solid side and soon evened the count with a try of their own.  We were able to put 4 trys on the board against the home team but they were able to match those and add a few more.  A good time was had by all and our host’s put on a tasty chicken dinner for us after the game.  We are currently trying to arrange a fixture at home with them in October.   This Sunday there is no game but there will be touch at 1pm in Burlington.  Sunday September 12th we are on the road for a game in Markham and then back home for our 10’s on the 19th.  Have a nice long weekend, Da Thug
