NOBS WORLD AUGUST 20TH. GOLF, TOUCH SUNDAY, LAST CALL FOR OTTAWA AND LAST WEEKENDS SOCCER AND PLATINUM OLDIES

Good morning to all of you rugby fans, where ever you are this morning in the Nobs World.  Lots of action last weekend but lets first have a look what’s on the agenda this weekend.   Saturday is the annual Nobs Golf Tournament.  Jack and friends have everything ready to go, now all they need is the weather to co-operate.  Sunday; touch is on in Burlington at 1pm.  “LAST CALL FOR OTTAWA!’  Don’t say you weren’t warned.  Rooms have been booked and rides are being finalized for next Saturday’s over-night trip to Ottawa.  For those of you still sitting on the fence about going we have a special guest travelling with us to the nation’s capital and playing.  No I am not talking about Andy Terry; it is the legendary Determinator, Dermott Fogharty.  You don’t want to miss this opportunity of a life time!! One last thing before we hand you over to our roving reporters on last week’s events.  The Burlington Centaurs are hosting the Canadian Rugby Championship on the Labour Day weekend.  The Ontario Blues take on British Columbia.  The Nobs currently have a limited number of tickets for sale for the bargain price of $10.  See Chris Mant if your interested. Now, we have left the best for last.  Two reports have been attached to this weeks Nobs World; one on last Fridays soccer match by John Guilfoyle and a Platinum Oldies account by Pablo [I’m now a Muddy York member] Malacara.  Enjoy!  See you on the pitch, Da Thug
