NOBS WORLD AUGUST 6TH "HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING"

Good afternoon rugby fans where ever you are in the Nobs World.   Lots happening in the month of August so let’s get right to it.  Mr. Larry Doyle has asked me to remind you that there is touch this Sunday the 8^th in Burlington.  Come out and be prepared to be mesmerized by the new Doyle2010!  Next week there are events planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Friday night August 13^th it’s the return soccer match of the BOTSC vs the NOBSRFC.  john.guilfoyle@mohawkcollege.ca is the man to get in touch with if you’re interested in playing.  The game is to be played on the eastern soccer pitch at Sherwood Forest.  It can be reached by taking Prince William Blvd off of Burloak Dr, south of the railway tracks. 

  On Saturday August 14^th, the Kawartha Kroc’s are holding their Platinum Oldies in Peterborough.  I know that quite a few of you are talking about going but please let Chris Mant know of your plans.  cmant@cogeco.ca    Sunday August 15th, the Dragon Boat races are set to go.

   If that hasn’t left you winded the Nobs Golf Tournament is set to go on August 21^st with touch on the 22^nd.  There’s still more!  August 28^th the Nobs resume playing rugby with our annual visit to our nation’s capitol.  If you interested in going please get in touch with Kevin bloskak@rogers.com or Eric eric@theandraes.com .  They are going to be trying to put together rooms and rides.  You don’t want to miss this.  That’s it for August and as you can see lots to do.  You can always get in touch with us at Nobs World and we will pass along your greetings.  See you on the pitch, Da Thug
