Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great Christmas!

We have the 80s ski pub crawl coming up on Jan 12th!
We need members, friends and family to come! We have spaces for 48 people and Ideally we would like to get people to pay in advance through e transfer and Pete will keep track of that.

Would you guys be able to message, email and post of Facebook (including the women's Facebook page) about the event to promote it and get the word out please.

NOBS NEWS: Gnome Bowl (Dec 31) and New Yeas Day

I good run around the dome yesterday to work off the Christmas pudding and other festive food and drink.  Thanks to Nick P. for organizing the event and for a good turnout.  There are still opportunities to work of the holidays.

On Dec 31 the Gnome Bowl – 11:30 – sharp so the teams can be selected. The event usually goes to about mid afternoon with a series of games with one team having bragging rights for a year.  It is a good mix of young and old!  Traditionally this is on Jan 1 – but not this year.  (Please correct me if I have the start time wrong).

On New Years day, we are looking at an outdoor touch game at 1:00.  Let see if we have enough to do this.  Let me know if you are in for a New Years Day run.  You could do the Gnome Bowl and a New Years Day run to start the year off!

Thanks

NOBS News: Boxing Day Run

A Boxing Day Run - has been confirmed for 2:00 to 3:00 in Dome 2.  This is open to Nobs and friends at no charges (we have a little left in the kitty).  Also on Boxing Day, by invitation only, some are dropping in on Craig.  I know everyone would like to drop in, but unfortunately that is not possible. I know everyone wants to pass on well wishes to Craig and family over the holidays.

There is still touch happening  all the way up to Christmas.

Thanks

NOBS NEWS: Boxing Day Run

All - there has been some discussion about having a Boxing day run in the dome and there appears to be good interest.  Details are not finalized but the concept is an hour of dome time ~ 3:00 ish.  None of this is confirmed, and it may be we end up outside.  This would be open to all NOBs, family and friends.

Once we firm up something we will communicate.

I have heard from a few confirming they are available for October 20 @11:00 KO in Buffalo - but not enough to make up a side.  So if you have been slow to respond, the time is now.  This is not just a Nobs game, but a classic Canada vs USA game! Ok, over dramatic but still will be good fun.

So if there are GITS or Hamilton Players looking for a game on the 20th, let me know by October 12th.  Share the email with others.

NOBS NEWS: REMINDER Sunday Touch this week 10:00 (sharp) Pine Glen Facility (Dundas /3rd)

I just want to confirm that Sunday touch for November is at the Pine Glen Facility (Dundas and 3rd Line) starting at 10:00 (sharp) for $10/session.  We only have this for four Sundays, then we will be back to our 1:00 outdoors.   I know change is difficult! but need to try something new every once in a while.  There will not be outdoor touch @ 1:00.

I am not aware of what change facilities they have, so I would assume none at this point. For those that think this is early, you do have the hour change this weekend to take advantage of.

Thanks
