There seems to be a bit of confusion as to where and when the game is this weekend.  The game is on Sunday, May 29th at 1pm, at Burlington’s Sherwood Forest Park.  Please arrive and be dressed and ready to start.  Let’s not keep the Krock’s waiting.  Next Sunday, June 5th we are also at home in Burlington, hosting Markham and the Lions.  Kickoff is 1pm.

To All City of Burlington Playfield Users,

Please note all City of Burlington permitted grass playfields continue to be closed until Friday, May 20, 2011 inclusively. Artificial turf playfields remain open.

The Roads and Park Maintenance Department will re-assess the grass playfield conditions on Friday and will determine if fields will remain closed for the weekend.

I encourage you to forward this e-mail to your coaches and participants on your distribution lists as several have requested to receive this e-mail. I understand everyone is anxious to begin the season but it’s important all your members respect the field closures to minimize damage to the playfields, play in these conditions could seriously damage our fields for an extended period of time.

Visit our web site at http://cms.burlington.ca/Page4175.aspx for updates.

Thank you.

Folks,

The pitch has been cut and is drying out but there are some pretty soft
spots. The south west end zone is pretty soft, so please stay off that area.
Same with the area east of the east dead ball line.

The women will be at sheldon park but perhaps Lee/chris can come to an
arrangement to share the pitch tonight if the NOBS don't go to that little
field west of the pitch.

The U16/18's aren't expected to be out tonight unless I hear otherwise.

The main thing tonight is to not worlk in one area too long.

Thanks,

Barry
