Rugby Fans,

 

It's time to dig yourselves out of your winter hibernation as the Centaurs will once again be the hub in Burlington for all things 6 Nations‎. 

 

This year's tournament‎ kicks off with a bang THIS Friday, February 6^th as Wales hosts England. Kick off is 3pm. The clubhouse will open at 2:15. 

 

Premium Sports, who supply the satellite feed, dictate the gate on the 6 Nations, so entrance for Friday is $20 while children under 18 get in FREE.  

 

The rugby action continues on Saturday, February 7th with ‎Italy v Ireland at 9:30 am and then France v Scotland at 12 PM. Admission is also $20.

We are fortunate again this year to have fresh Tim Horton's coffee Saturday mornings courtesy of your favorite NOB Dermot Fogerty.....thanks Dermot! 

 

Also, this is the perfect‎ time of year to renew your Social Club Membership and show your appreciation for the Centaur  facilities and bringing you top international rugby. We'll have member discounts throughout the tournament, so become a member and take advantage. 

 

Go Wales.....er, I mean England....oh wait, Go Ireland......nevermind......GO CENTAURS! 

 

 

The Centaurs would like to congratulate Ian & Heather MacInnis on the arrival of their baby girl Kylie Cameron MacInnis!

 

Also coinciding with the kick-off of the 6 Nations THIS Friday at 3:00 pm, we will be performing a UK tradition called 'Wetting the Baby's Head' – See message below from James Raynor.

 

 

Hello all,
 
This is to inform you all of a tradition that we do in the UK called wetting the baby's head. It is an excuse to get together and celebrate the arrival of a new child. With beer and ale nothing else Boulanger???
 
One off our own Ian Macinnis and his wife Heather just celebrated the arrival of little Kylie!!!  Ian has some heritage from back home I think he was a pikey!!!
 
So we are getting together this Friday at 3pm at the rugby club in Burlington to have a couple of beers!!  This also happens to also be the same time as this below!!!!!!
 
This Friday afternoon at 3pm England will be playing the poor Welsh team in the Six Nations. This will be televised at Burlington Rugby Club. The cost is $20 per person please do not be cheap (welsh people) and come and watch this great spectacle of rugby form England.
 
This will be a great afternoon of getting together celebrating Kylie into the rugby community and also watching England destroy that inferior nation Wales!!
 
Some people will be going downtown after the game some will be taking off as they have dinner plans. Please someone make sure Stuart Riley has dinner plans!!
 
Look forward to seeing a lot of you there. Make an effort and lets have a good one..
