Adriana and Richard Aitken from the Peterborough RFC would like to invite any NOBs or like-minded individuals to join them on their tour to China. This is not a playing tour but does include the Hong Kong sevens. Richard toured many times with the NOBs and Adriana his wife has many contacts in China and has put together a superb itinerary.

Here is the estimate of the whole trip for your reference. The quote is based on 2011 price and can not be guaranteed until we pay the deposit.

 

Hong Kong Sevens Rugby festival: mar. 23- 25, 2012. You have to buy your own tickets if you are interested in it. I found website "ticket wizard" from Australia who sells 1 day, 2 days, & 3 days pass. They are very expensive.

 

There are two groups:

 

Group 1: Mar.22 leaving Toronto to Hong Kong, Apr.5 from Shanghai to Toronto: For those who traveled to China before.

Group 2: Mar 23 leaving Toronto to Hong Kong, Apr. 11 from Beijing to Toronto: for those who have never been to China. (Extended tours to Terra-cotta warriors, great wall, forbidden city, etc)

 

Cost:

Hong Kong: 3 nights hotel: B.P. International House Hotel 3-4 stars: good location at Kowloon: about C$400 per room for two people for 3 nights based on 20 people; excl service charges & tax.

 

Group 1: Apr.5 group ( 11 days tour in China about 7 cities): total cost C$1880 per person incl. land tour, domestic flight, hotels (4-5 stars), 5 star 3 Gorgeous Cruise tour, high speed train, tour guide, sightseeing admission. Excl meals, optional tour, insurance, tips, etc.

 

Group 2: Apr. 11 group (18 days tour in China about 10 cities): total cost CS2900 per person incl. land tour, domestic flight, hotels (4-5 stars), 5 star 3 Gorgeous cruise tour, high speed train, tour guide, sightseeing admisstion; excl. meals, optional tour, insurance, & tips, etc.

 

Chinese Meals: C$8.00 – 9.00 per person per meal if you want to add on some.

 

Once we have exact number of travelers, we may can negotiate price a little bit.

 

Re: Air Canada non-Stop flights: based on 10 people for each group

 

Group1: C$1130/per person incl. everything.

Toronto – Hong Kong on Mar.22, 2012

Shanghai – Toronto  on Apr.5, 2012

Round tickets C$1140 (price quoted yesterday and may change)

 

Group2: C$1120 per person incl. everything.

Toronto – Hong Kong on Mar.22, 2012
