Good afternoon to everyone in the NOBS World; where ever you are.  Larry has informed us  he won't be available for this Sundays 10's.  Pictured above is the 79 year old Larry, taking the field in anticipation of the second half kickoff, September 2012.  Larry's squad went on to win the tournament that day.  We'll buy Larry's excuse this year, but not from you.  Kickoff is set for high noon Sunday the 21^st.   Please arrive early and be ready to go.  Better still show up earlier and help set up.  Someone will be there to open up by 11am. 

 

 

This Sunday will be a special occasion.  Not just the 10's; but a sendoff for our good friend and team mate who is moving to British Columbia, Chris Mant.   Come on down and make his life miserable one last time. 

 

I have been told that Larry is resting comfortably at home; keeping a close eye on Liverpool FC and on the road to recovery.  I have been astounded by the emails I have received concerned about his well-being.  He has received phone calls from a UK. Geordie.  Visits from a Scotsman on his way to the airport, heading home for the big vote.  E-mails from an Alberta Gringo, a Young Millar on holiday in Greece, concerned Krock's and a whole lot more.  God bless you all.  It is a NOB World.
