This is a heads-up to all those planning to join the XLs on their annual trip to
As most of you know, the XLs are invited to participate in this event each year, which features teams from across the Northeast. We meet in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire to play a couple of games, and party all weekend. Many (most?) bring their "Significant Other" along to enjoy the weekend.
The rugby is great, the venue is idyllic, the fellowship is unforgettable, and the stories are legendary.
Early Details...
- The weekend for the event is June 03 - 05, 2011. As usual, many of us will be heading down early on the Thursday (June 2nd)
- If you are intending to join us, we ask that you send a note of that intent to our Tour/Club Captain - Chuck Schandl (chuckschandl@gmail.com).
- Headquarters and accommodations for our visit will again be at the Stonybrook Motel and Lodge. We have block-booked ten rooms for the XLs. If we book up quickly, we can book some more, but WE HAVE TO MOVE QUICKLY. The Motel is very popular. The ten rooms are blocked to the end of April, but we encourage you to phone and place your booking ASAP. Last year they ran out of rooms, and some players had to find spots elsewhere.
