Good evening rugby fans, where ever you are in the World of Nobs. We are now into the final month of our rugby season but lots still going on as we head to the wire. This Sunday we are in Markham for a match, with a 1pm kickoff. For those of you who would like to car pool from Burlington we are departing Sherwood Forest at 11:30 am. Next Sunday the 24th we are home for a re-match with Muddy York and a 1pm kickoff. The 27th, a Wednesday has our match with the mighty Staff College. The fixture is set for a 6:30 kick off under the lights at the Cru. On Saturday November 6th it is Cup Day. This year the game has been moved to Markham and the kickoff is "10:30 am" giving everyone time to get a game in, have a beer and some grub and then scoot on up to the Square for the Cup Day games. Then of course some of us can get home in time for a nap! There is touch this Sunday in Burlington at 1pm and Dave Tait who is spearheading a drive to co-ordinate the weekend touch games for the club would like to hear of your intentions. Dave can be reached at dstait@mac.com Let him know and Saturday evening he will advise on what will be happening Sunday. We here at the Nobs World Head quarters will monitor the situation and also pass this on. A few other things, on November the 14th we will be holding our 3rd annual East / West season finale game, more on that game in the near future. I have received word from FIFA that indoor soccer will start in Burlington at Sherwood Forest on Tuesday, November 2nd at 7pm. They asked us to use Tuesday so as not to conflict with any Premiership games and effect gate receipts. Rolf will soon provide us with the cost for soccer. The Dome is now under way and the Dnome Ranger has things well in hand already issuing warnings to those who do not heed his code of the Dome. Beware those who would challenge the all seeing, all knowing Gnome. See you on the pitch in Markham this Sunday or at least get you butt of the couch for touch, Da Thug
