NOBS WORLD OCT 7. TOUCH, MUDDY YORK, STAFF COLLEGE AND MUCH MORE

Greeting and salutations from all of us, here at the Nobs World Headquarters!!  We are now into October and Thanksgiving is nearly upon us.  Last long weekend before Christmas but for those of you already on a fixed income, life is a holiday daily!  Before we talk about what’s going on this weekend, let’s talk about touch tonight and into the future.  With our day light playing time being reduced, touch is getting under way early.  The sooner we get a quorum, the sooner we can get going.  If Kevin can make it out early, why not you?  Tonight is tentatively the last day of touch outdoors before we head into the dome on October 14^th.  If the dome is not ready to use we will let you know.  I haven’t received word yet from FIFA but it won’t be long till we head indoors on Tuesday’s for “Soccer Night in Canada.”  As soon as soccer details are available we will pass it on to you. 

  This weekend there is no game on but touch will be run in Burlington at 1pm.  Next Sunday the 17^th it is off to Markham for a game, kickoff is 1pm.  More info on this game to come out next week.  Our fixture officer Peter Allan has been hard at work and is pleased to announce upcoming fixtures with the Staff College and a re-match with the Muddy York.  The Muddy York will pay us a visit on October 24^th for a game in Burlington; kickoff is set for 1pm.  After tough negotiations the DND, we have cleared security checks and are pleased to announce a fixture with the Staff College on Wednesday, October 27 at the Cru.  Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM.   A new updated schedule has been sent out to you and you should also note the Cup Day Game has been changed to November 6^th and the game will be in Markham not the Square.  Kickoff is set for 11AM.  More on this fixture as we get closer.  See you on the pitch in the daylight tonight, Da Thug
