Subject: Burlington Centaurs 45th Anniversary THIS WEEKEND

First off we want to say how proud we are of the Centaurs Senior Men and congratulate them on a successful season.

 

After being promoted this year the Centaurs went 8-2 and competed in the Ontario Championship Cup Final vs Waterloo County.

 

The score was back and forth in the second half with the game going into double sudden death overtime. In the end, the Centaurs lost a close fought battle 27-24.

45^th Anniversary Weekend – Friday, August 25^th – Sunday, August 27^th

 

Golf Tournament at Hidden Lake Golf Course – Friday, August 25^th

• We have over 60 golfers signed up for this Friday – Room for more groups, if interested email me ASAP
• Look for the Centaurs Registration Tent at 11:00 am – Please bring $125 cash for registration (ATM available)
• Two tee off times starting at Noon
• Bucket of balls for the driving range is included with registration

• Dinner at 6:00 pm at the Dickens Pub w $5 Carlsberg & Somersby pints thanks to Carlsberg

 

Alumni Day & 45^th Anniversary Banquet – Saturday, August 25^th

• NOON - Centaur Women vs Phoenixville White Horse Women KO
• 1:30 pm - Centaurs Alumni vs GITS KO
• Festival insurance covers all alumni, to get on the lineup email Gareth  Williams bit_chunky@hotmail.co.uk
• Beer Tent & Food available on the sidelines

 

Banquet at Southcote 53 in Ancaster

• We have over 140 people attending the banquet! Thank you for the support.
• Please advise of any dietary restrictions in advance or at sign-in
• 6:00 pm - Buses depart the clubhouse to Southcote 53
• 6:30 pm – Sign in Table & Cocktails at Southcote 53
• Please bring cash for your banquet tickets and club fundraising items including:
  • 50/50 Tickets - $10
  • Centaurs Memory Book - $40
  • Limited Centaurs Gilbert Barbarian Match Balls - $80
  • Silent Auction – Tons of great items to bid on
