Nobs News: Its Game Time!

A few bits of information.

This Sunday September 3rd there is still touch happening.  But, the main field is being used up to around 1:30 by Ontario Rugby for some 7's.

We have some contact games (note they are on Saturday):

1. GITS at East York Collegiate - Saturday, September 16 @ 2:00.  If you want a evening in the City, what a great opportunity!

2. Silverbacks/NOBs in Hamilton versus the GITS - Saturday, October 14 @ 2:00

We need to confirm numbers for the Sept 16th game.  So let me know you are in....

There is also a call out for Sept 30.  There is the Coburg Golden Rod, as well I heard from our friends in Buffalo about a Alumni game for over 40's in advance of their pub crawl. 

We are also looking to have an all comers as part of McCormick cup day up at Fletcher's on Saturday, October 21.  We did this last year and despite the wind and cold was a great way to finish thing off.  

The other week the NOBs took on the BOTSL in the second leg of the annual soccer game.  The twist was the game was half soccer and touch rugby.  It was a great evening and we saw some faces we have not seen around for awhile (always a good thing).  I believe the NOBs won the second leg of this epic battle!  Although, it could have been we need to provide the soccer side a few of our players.  Thanks to John Guilfoyle for organizing the event and to Rolf and Kevin for keeping us fed and watered.
