NOBS WORLD AUGUST 4TH 2015 : Cricket this Sunday

Good afternoon to everyone in the NOBS World; where ever you are.  Here we are into  August and a number events are coming up.  Before we get to that, we have attached a report from John VanGaalfoyle on our last fixture with the BOTSC.  You’ll have to read it to find out the final score.  August 7th [this Friday] we are back at it again for the second leg of  the Sherwood Forest Derby.  Premiership games the next day will seem dull, after this!

This Sunday is our annual cricket event and we have all the details you’ll need to know, below from our new cricket wizard Derek Wiggins.

August 15th is the Platinum Oldies in Peterborough and the next day it’s a game at East York Collegiate as we take on the GITS.  Lots for everyone.

Hi Craig...

Could you send out this reminder to one-and-all please....feel free to edit as you see fit...

This Sunday is our annual Cricket match against the Burlington Welsh Choir....we will be meeting at the Centuars clubhouse at 12:30, for a 1:00pm start.

Players should bring something for the afternoon tea interval...a plate of sandwiches is the usual offering, but anything edible that can be shared is welcome!

We need a good turnout to make this afternoon a success so please come out and try your hand with bat & ball!

All equipment is supplied, and white cricket attire is not obligatory!

For those not familiar with the game here is a short rundown of the basics....

Well, that clears things up...hope to see you on Sunday!
