Fwd: NOBS WORLD JUNE 11, 2015 " UP COMING EVENTS"

Good morning to everyone in the NOBS World; where ever you are.  Lots going on over the next few weeks; but first, let's talk about last Sunday.  We travelled to East York Collegiate with a strong contingent of players.  The GITS generously provided us with players to make up our squad and have some spares.  The GITS came away with a 5-3 victory, but a very solid game.  Denis Thomas had a good game as he pointed out to us in the post-game presentations [LOL]  at the legendary Kilt & Harp, who also put on a nice food spread for us. 

 

This week we are back home to once again host Bruce County at 1pm.  June 20^th we take on the Centaurs Alumni at 11am; not the previously reported 12pm.  There's an email below from Centaurs Nick Manz with a guide to all the Alumni Weekend festivities.

 

MONDAY, JUNE 20^TH AT 7PM,  we are hosting the Staff College.  A rare spring fixture against the armed forces squad. 

 

Tim Ellis has asked me to remind all of you we need bodies for all 3 fixture.  Come on out as were only a month away from the summer hiatus.

Saturday, June 20^th, 2015 – Alumni Game Kicks off at 11:00 am

·       This year the game will be sanctioned by the club for a minimal fee to players

·       The Saturday will be a full day or rugby with ALL teams playing at home

o   NOON – Burlington Women v Stratford

o   1:30 pm – Burlington 2^nd XV v Guelph Redcoats 2^nd

o   3:00 pm – Burlington 1^st XV v Guelph Redcoats 1^st

o   4:30 pm – Burlington III v Buffalo
