There will be blood this Saturday, as the NOBS take on the Centaurs BARFS. Oh who am I kidding; it’s just a friendly, if there is such a thing in rugby. Something I did not mention before, we are in the “YELLOW” jerseys this Saturday. For those who don’t have them, they will be provided.
So, don’t say you haven’t been told. The game kickoffs at 11am. This is 11am real world time; not Old Boys. Get there early, dressed, warmed up, and ready to go. Don’t forget it is also a photo day and we are inviting all NOBS, playing and not to come join us for a photo after the match.
There is also touch, this Sunday, as usual at 1pm.

Ed Holton here---fixtures secretary for the Kawartha Krocks.....may I suggest our annual Platinum Oldies on Sat. Aug 16th at Nicholls Oval in Peterborough. An over-60 match (absolutely minimal contact) followed by an over-50's game...a little bit more tackling, and new this year, our over-35's ladies touch team will take on all-comers who prefer touch rugby (male or female).
My recommendation would be bring the spouse/family and a night at the Holiday Inn Waterfront; great Gazebo bar at the back of the hotel on the river + an indoor pool that extends into the outdoors! Also, that night, about a 3 minute walk away is our free Musicfest with Hotel California playing (Eagles tribute). The next day you could take the Liftlock Cruise boat up the Peterborough Liftlocks (world's largest hydraulic liftlock)---approx. 1 minute walk from hotel.
Don't forget our new clubhouse, great Krock hospitality, etc. etc.
