FW: Upcoming Alumni Weekend - Friday, July 25 & Sat July 26

 

Good afternoon to everyone in the NOBS World.  This Saturday is the annual Alumni Day vs The Barfs.    Our game is on at 11am sharp, so get there early, be dressed and ready to play.  Before that, there is a golf tournament to be played Friday.  The Centaurs have posted the foursomes, which we have below.   Even if you're not playing; come out and take part in our group photo.

Centaurs Alumni & Friends,

There is a lot of action at Sherwood Forest Park this week and the upcoming Alumni Weekend.
On Saturday EVERYONE REMEMBER TO WEAR PINK(PINK CENTAURS shirt if you have one) for the Pink Ladies' Day and for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Wednesday, July 23rd - The U-18 Ontario JR BLUES vs St. Dunstan UK Touring Team - KO @ 6:30 pm

Friday, July 25th - Centaurs Annual Golf Tournament - MEET @ 12:45 at Millcroft PLEASE BRING $80 CASH

Below are the list of Groups for the Golf Tournament.
It will be a best ball/modified scramble with prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to the Rugby Ball, etc.




Saturday, July 26th - CENTAURS ALUMNI DAY & PINKLadies' Day

This year Cogeco Cable will be on site to broadcast the Men's 1st XV game with our own Cye Beechey providing the game commentary. Make sure to come down to watch the game LIVE with the Dickens Pub set up on the sidelines providing Food & Refreshments.

Men Alumni please confirm your spot on the roster for the Alumni game with Gareth Williams bit_chunky@hotmail.co.ukand ensure that you have completed your
2 week registration in advance through our website http://centaursrfc.com/registration/

You MUST be registered for insurance reasons in order to be eligible to PLAY.

ALUMNI DAY AGENDA

11:00 am - The NOBS vs The Burlington Alumni Rugby Footballers (BARFs)

12:00 pm - Women vs Stratford

1:30 pm - 2nd XV vs Kent Havoc RFC

3:00 pm - 1st XV vs Windsor Rogues (Televised by Cogeco TV)

4:30 pm - Women Alumni Touch Rugby Game

Social night to follow at the club and then Downtown Burlington.

EVERYONE REMEMBER TO WEAR PINK as we will be holding various fundraising raffles with funds donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

 PINK Rugby Socks will be available for sale for $15 and there will also be raffles on the day.

Proceeds raised will be going towards the Centaurs Annual CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
