Good afternoon to everyone in the NOBS World. A belated Happy New Year to one and all.
With January upon us the NOBS, AGM is drawing near. Sunday, January 27th at 3pm in the clubhouse of the Burlington Centaurs, following the touch run around at 1pm; the action gets under way. All positions on the executive are open, and a nominations board is available to take you nominations in the Centaurs club house.
Our good friend Rolf Thomas yesterday, had quadruple heart bypass surgery. In typical low key Rolf style, he didn’t let us know until just before he went in for this!
Our roving reporter John Noble, has been looking into his condition. Yesterday Rolfy was in the intensive care unit of the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga. He was reported in stable condition. At noon today John reported that Rolf had been transferred to a regular room, which sounds like positive news.
I know that he would love to hear from us and would probably enjoy a visit but it might be best if you called ahead to see if he is taking visitors yet.
When we have more news, we will pass it on to you.
“Friends for rugby, are friends for life.
