Good morning to everyone in the NOBS World on this cold January morning, where the temperature is currently hovering at -13c! Of course if its January, it also time for the NOBS AGM. This Sunday, at 3pm the excitement gets underway, in the Burlington Centaurs clubhouse. An added feature is our regular touch run around at 1pm; outside, on the artificial turf. The cost is $5, a bargain at twice the price.
Tomorrow, January 25th is one of the great day on the NOBS calendar; Robbie Burns Day!” Our Scottish friend Jonny Goldie, has extended an invitation to join him for a Burns Night celebration on Saturday. All the details are below. Looking forward to some Haggis, Da Thug.
Hi Craig – please pass this on to the NOBS!
In lieu of a NOBS Burns Supper I will be addressing the Haggis at the Winchester Arms in Dundas this Saturday the 26th January around 6:45 then playing music all night afters. There are also Scottish country dancers at 6:30 pm for those who are interested in a night of Scottish poetry, music and frivolity.
Cheers
Jonny
