NOBS WORLD NOVEMBER 15TH

Good afternoon rugby fans throughout the Nobs World.  Last Sunday, longtime Nob, Dave Tait experienced discomfort while playing touch and under the advisement of the Nobs team doctor he had himself  taken to hospital to be checked out.  We are pleased to report that Dave says he is fine and will be rejoining us on the pitch shortly.  Rumours spread quickly up in the bar that he was trying to duck out on the $5 match fee.  All joking aside if you’re out running around and start experiencing chest pains or difficulty in breathing please get yourself checked out ASAP.  Over the past year we had 2 incidents where 2 of our fellows out running touch and experienced extreme discomfort had had heart attacks!  They are both doing much better now but things could have been different.  So ends the sermon.

Touch is on Sundays at 1pm.  Last Sunday we had a great turnout, but there is always room for more.  Don’t forget soccer is on in the gym in Burlington on Tuesday evenings at 7pm.  Tickets are on sale right now for the awards night on November 25.  See Jack Morrison or any executive for tickets.  It will be a great night of rugby.  See you on the pitch, Da Thug.
