NOBS WORLD NOV 9TH 2011

Good afternoon rugby fans, where ever you are in the Nobs World.  The season came to an end last Sunday at the Cru.  What’s that?  Who won?   Under ideal conditions at the Cru the 4th annual East vs. West game was played.  Turn out for the event was good as the game was played under sunny skies, with temperatures in the mid-teens.  There was cause for celebration as rugby good guy; Mark Radwanski celebrated his 60th birthday and was presented with red shorts before the match!  Afterwards the Cru balcony was packed as the post-game celebration moved outside.  So; who won?  Rugby was the real winner, as it should be.

As one door closes, one opens as our winter program is now underway.  Tuesday, it’s soccer in the gym at Burlington.  Thursday, it’s touch in the dome, and Sunday’s it outside on the artificial turf for touch.  That gets underway at 1pm with a $5 fee.   You have probably already heard that our Annual Awards night is Friday November the 25th up in the Burlington Centaurs Clubhouse.  This event gets underway at 7pm.  The cost is $25 with limited seating.  See your executive for tickets.  See you on the pitch, Da Thug
