Well, I guess you thought tonight’s game, under the lights, at 7pm, at the west end soccer pitch was our last game of the season. You thought wrong. Below is an email from Tim Morton, inviting all NOBS to participate in a game this coming Saturday. It appears to be a friendly, but brother on brother always gets interesting. It does look fun though.
Tonight! It is important this game gets underway on time, so be there early, dressed, warmed up and ready to go. Not sure of what jerseys we are wearing, so bring both.
The regular Tuesday night touch is also on in the dome. Lots of food and drinks after in the club. See you tonight, Da Thug
Presidents Day - Nov 7th
Boys, Presidents day is coming up quick. Need lots of bodies to ensure we have a great time. Try to make it out. Accept on teamer if you can.
The President’s Day match will be the first annual match held at the end of the season between two teams made up from our club. There is a President's XV and a Captain's XV (chosen by club President and club Captain). The winner of the match celebrates with champagne out of the PRESIDENT'S CUP - the loser gets to drink their own tears. Drink breaks are frequent (booze only allowed inside the club) Silly Hat is mandatory during the match and No try scored shall count unless it is completed whilst wearing a silly hat' stealing hats mid game is recommended.
We ask everyone shows up at the clubhouse around Noon where we can have a couple pre match bevys and Colin and Andy can sort out teams. After the game we will continue to drink and eventually head down town.. it’s going to be a good one boys. Any new players or old are welcome to come out for a run around. Make sure to do your best to get out for the match.
