GAME TOMORROW NIGHT.
Ladies and gentlemen. I am sorry to report that tomorrow’s game against the Centaurs game has been cancelled. A number of the players who could have played, have other game commitments tomorrow evening and they will not be able to get the numbers out needed. Touch as usual will be happening, along with a game between the Centaurs and Crusaders. See you tomorrow, Da Thug

Hi John, Rolf and Jack,
I would like to follow up on my email that was sent on June 4th. I have received your cheque for $1659.88 for 17 Master's player registrations (see attached). I have yet to receive the Rugby Canada Registration forms, therefore these 17 registrations are not approved and these players are currently not covered by insurance.
Can you please advise on these registration forms as soon as possible?
Kind regards,
Larissa Mankis

GAME THIS THURSDAY
Just a reminder that we have a game this Thursday in Burlington at 6:30pm. Jon Goldie who has played a few NOBS game and is very familiar with the casual start times for Old Boys games has a bit of good advice that we get there early and be ready to go. We are the opening act of a double header, that features a game with the Crusaders and Centaurs at 7:30pm. See you Thursday, Da Thug
P.S. Touch is also on Thursday night. If for some reason you might be late, still come out and get some playing time in. It’s a bit of a track meet when we play the juniors, so the more, the merrier.
June 26th we have Cru coming at 730 so if you can get everybody there by 6 that would help J

Good morning to everyone in the NOBS World; where ever you are. Lots to talk about this morning, as the clouds begin to break up and the sun starts shining through. Speaking of the sun, we have been invited to participate in the Brantford Harlequins Family Day, this “SATURDAY” where it looks to be a beautiful sunny, first day of summer. The game kicks off at 1pm, with a number of old boy’s teams being invited to participate. It looks like they have a full slate of events that day, topped off with a game between the Oakville Crusaders and the Harlequins at 1pm.
The Harlequins fields are located at 22 Powerline Rd. Brantford Ontario. Easily accessible from the 403. You can google the Harlequins for driving instructions.
Here are a few fixture changes for us. The game originally scheduled with the Centaurs Junior teams on June 30th have been changed to THURSDAY June 26th with a 6:30 kickoff. Very important we are ready to go at 6:30. On Saturday July 26th we will be participating in the Centaurs Alumni Day, kickoff is TBA.
Don’t forget to mark down our soccer dates with the Burlington Old-timers Soccer Club, on Friday’s July 11 and August 15th. Team manager Jose Guilfoyle Mourinho has asked you be there and dressed by 6:30 pm. Both games are on the Centaurs field. If you are thinking of playing you can contact Jose at johnguilfoyle99@gmail.com
Cricket is on August 17th , while the golf is August 23rd. More information on these 2 events as they become available.
Something very important has been brought to our attention, in that a few people have attempted to get in our games while not being registered. Please don’t! Get yourself signed up.
Touch is on this Sunday, as it is every Sunday at 1pm in Burlington. Below is a report on that from John Noble. Goodbye spring; hello summer, Da Thug

Good morning Craig. Great turn out for Sunday touch--8 on 8. Touch will be on every Sunday for those not playing contact game, do not have time and those recovering from injury. Remember, keep your fitness up (or lack of it!).
See you Tuesday.

NOBS WORLD JUNE 13TH 2014
Good morning to everyone across the NOBS World; where ever you are. Big rugby weekend is almost upon us. Saturday, its Canada hosting Scotland at BMO field in Toronto.
On Sunday, we have been invited to join in as the Saracens Rugby Club, celebrate their 60th anniversary. There is an old boys game to mark the occasion in Toronto’s Sunnybrook park at 1pm.
You can google the park, but it is located at the corner of Eglinton Ave and Leslie St. With the traffic problems on the Gardiner, the easiest way to get there is take the 401 to Leslie, south bound. Take Leslie almost to Eglinton. The park entrance is on the right hand side, just before reaching Eglinton. If you are coming up the Don Valley, get off at Eglinton. You want to turn left, west bound. Drive to Leslie, turn right and the park entrance is on the left, just after the turn.
For those of you who have never been in the park, you will have to pass through the gauntlet of wonderful smelling barbeques, past the horse barns, up the hill and when you reach the parking lots, you will see the playing fields. The rugby pitches are beyond the cricket ovals. A great place to play rugby.
Can’t make it to Sunnybrook? There will be touch in Burlington at 1pm. Happy Father’s Day to all you dads, Da Thug

FW: Rugby Canada Fundraiser Dinner - THIS Thursday, June 12 @ 6:00 pm
Folks, there are some seats, but moving fast, for the Rugby Canada Fundraiser Dinner this Thursday. A chance to sit with Canadian Rugby legend, Monty Heald. If you're interested, contact Nick Manz at Nick_Manz@toyota.ca . Da Thug
From: Monty Heald
Lexie is in for sure just confirmed and left message for Dave as well as email. I am almost certain he will take ticket as there was a cock up in communication before he went to Scotland and was expecting to have ticket when he returned.
If you are looking for someone else you might try Jason Braydon it is the sort of thing he may enjoy.
Cheers

Craig,
I had 3 people unable to attend the Fundraising Dinner for Rugby Canada THIS Thursday, June 12, 2014.
I have already committed to a Centaurs / NOBS table of 10 and I need to fill the spots ASAP.
Can you please help me find 3people to give towards a good cause and attend the dinner. Cost of the dinner ticket are $175 each.
There are a ton of great door prizes and some amazing rugby memorabilia available for auction.
Rugby Canada has done a great job supporting the Centaurs and have selected the Centaurs Club to practice at all this week as they prepare for their big match vs Scotland this Saturday at BMO.
I would like to have a good showing at the Fundraising Dinner and also in support of Monty Heald.
Please see attached for details.
Cheers
Nick Manz

NOBS WORLD JUNE 10TH 2014
Good morning everyone across the NOBS World; where ever you are. First off; let me apologize for dropping the ball on driving instructions to last Sundays fixture in Markham.

To all of you who did get there, it was greatly appreciated. This Sunday we have been invited to participate in the Toronto Saracen’s 60th Anniversary game, at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Park. Kickoff is at 1pm. You can Google the Park for driving instructions, but contact me if you need help. The week after we are playing in Brantford at the home of the Harlequins on Saturday. Kickoff is TBA.
I have enclosed a 2014 Fixtures list. There is more to be added to it and you will be notified when that happens. Touch this Tuesday And Thursday, see you there, Da Thug
