NOBS WORLD, AUGUST 1ST, WHATS HAPPENING!

Good afternoon rugby fans, and welcome to August.  Not much rugby

this  month, but lots to keep you happy.  As always touch will be run on

Sundays at 1pm in Burlington, but not on August 12th as that is the NOBS

30th Anniversary Golf tournament.  Jack Morrison may be able to tell

you if there are any opening left.  He can be reached at s.j.morrison@sympatico.ca.

Friday August the 10th is the second leg of our soccer with the Burlington

Soccer  Oldboy’s.  The Emperor For Life is looking for help.

melcrossfield@cogeco.ca

Saturday, August 18th it is the Platinum Oldies in Peterborough. Dave Tait

Is recruiting players for this event. Davet8@bell.net.

The next day, August 19th it is the NOBS 30th Anniversary Cricket event.

Larry Doyle will be letting us know more on that later.

To round out the month, we travel to Ottawa on Saturday, August 25th

to do battle the Ottawa Senators, for our annual [well almost] visit.

That’s it!  Touch is still every Tuesday at the Cru and Burlington, and

Thursdays in Burlington.   Take care, Da Thug
