NOBS News: Fwd: Fort Lauderdale
Winning ways!
NOBS News - Sunday TOUCH CANCELLED
Just did a field check and it is still in poor condition. Large areas of ice, water, and snow mixed with some exposed ground that is saturated and half frozen. It is vey uneven and tricky to walk on let alone run. Given the weather forecast of 6-10 mm of rain and high winds, I think it best to pass again this weekend. Hopefully the weather will stabilize a bit for next Sunday.
Thanks
Phil

NOBS News: Touch on Sunday, the Chalice
Given the field conditions over the past few weekends we will do a field check tomorrow to determine if the field is suitable (safe) to run touch. I will send out a note late Saturday afternoon confirming YES or NO for touch. So please check your email before heading to Sunday touch.
Just a reminder that Rolf's Chalice is at the clubhouse for donations in Craig's memory. Any donation will be matched by the Club, so you can double up. Donations will be going to Carpenter's Hospice in Craig's memory as a giving and generous person. If you are unable to make it to the clubhouse over the next few weeks just drop me a note and we will make the donation on your behalf and catch up with you later.
Thanks

NOBs and Friends - The Thug
It is with great sadness to inform everyone that Criag "the Thug" Morley - our friend, team mate and a true gentleman of rugby passed away early this morning.
Wherever you are in this world today, please raise a glass to Craig, he’s has touched many of us in rugby with his kindness and generosity.
Our deepest sympathies to Tracey and family.
We will pass on news as it becomes available.

Nobs News: Family Day TOUCH
Just a reminder, we have Dome 1 on Monday (Family Day) from 5:00 to 6:00 (courtesy of the Arrows). This is open to everyone and at no charge! Feel free to bring a friend or family member.
Given conditions last week we were not able to play on Sunday outside :( - I will take a look at the field tomorrow to see if the same icy conditions exist, so stay tuned whether there is touch on Sunday (safety first).
Thanks
